Process

Every year, all schools across the UK are invited to nominate their most outstanding headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants and governors. Anyone can make a nomination. Nominations are then endorsed by the senior management team to proceed to the next stage. There are various regional events that act as qualifying rounds for the national awards. The televised national awards ceremony is held in autumn, where awards are given out in various categories.
